About Pho 881 Restaurant
Traditional Vietnamese Cuisine, Fresh β’ Authentic β’ Made Daily
Located at 2612 E Anaheim St, Long Beach, CA 90804, Pho 881 Restaurant operates as a vietnamese serving Long Beach in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Long Beach, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ6:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Wednesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Pho 881 Restaurant at (562) 599-5305; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is pho881.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Traffic in Long Beach peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. They say you need to die to get to heaven, but maybe heaven is the chicken pho at pho 881 in Long Beach. The egg rolls are the perfect width for a crispy exterior, but the exact length for a substantial amount of filling that doesnβt leave you needing more. The spring rolls were standard, the peanut sauce was good. The Thai tea was not too sweet, and had the perfect amount of ice. And then came the soup. The chicken had tender pieces of skin that melted in your mouth like butter. The creamy texture from the fat coupled perfectly with the sharp spice from the ginger dipping sauce. Iβm not sure if the people who run this place accidentally made me on of the best meals of my life, or if thatβs just standard practice here, but I am thoroughly impressed by the culinary level of pho 881. And also, the server was quite silly, very jolly, and kind. Just great.

Phenomenal Pho Restaurant!! Came on a Sunday afternoon and the Pho is the best I've had in Long Beach!. I got the P08 with brisket and rare steak. My soup came out within 2 minutes. Vibe is so raw and authentic. You know it's real when you have uncles and aunties making sauces and cleaning basil in the table in front

The pho was tasteful along with the garden rolls. Although the outside may have been a bit tainted by old graffiti, dont let that stop you from the quality of the meal and cost of the bowls. The serving was a smaller size bowl than expected for a large, and the flavor wasn't bold that would make it stand out from what I can compare to. The host was very nice. The peanut sauce was a little too liquidy. The pho with noodles only, would be the only one I would not recommend, because no taste, and extremely bland. The decor is a bit shabby, but again not what you come for, but the bowls of pho. Id recommend changing the menu to look better and add a little flair with some viet soft music. Other than that we may come back if were ever in the area.
